Visitors can identify an impressive collection of naturalized wild animals that comes from all across North America.

Every animal species is presented in its hand-painted look alike habitat scrupulously done by Gilles Poulin, a very talented local artist.

All along the indoor corridors, lovers of wild animals can see and relish over thirty-three (33) dioramas. Our experienced guides will help you discover the fascinating universe of the terrestrial as well as the winged fauna of North America. Bon voyage !

Why have we chosen to exhibit the animals in this particular fashion ?

We wanted to stress the importance of both the animal and the habitat that sustains its life. The dioramas give us an accurate reproduction of the habitat as shown in the photographs taken during the numerous hunting expeditions made by Jean-Luc Couture.

On one hand, the contrast between the relative darkness of the corridors and, on the other hand, the brightness of the scenes do accentuate the illusion of reality.

Visitors can let themselves travel through a decor that is nothing but magical. Furthermore, some dioramas contain elements in relief which, when superimposed on the horizon, do accentuate the tridimensional effect.
